Description
I decided to give my lady robot a companion. I have no idea what they are doing though. Thanks for looking.
Painted in photoshop 7.0...STILL!
P.S Thanks to anyone who voted for me in the nominations. I appreciate it even though I feel weird in yellow

Great mood and lighting
I like the fact that the picture doesn't explain itself and gets your own imagination going.
Great reflections

Shark I never noticed myself but yes maybe the perspective isn't quite right or the DOP? I will have to look at it with fresh eyes lol. Thanks
Thanks Vincentdudemaman! i didnt really have a story for this other than they were sort of exploring so making your own story up is cool.
01/19/08 @967
Very cool on the anatomy side

The perspective is indeed odd, but I figured this is how it is when you invade a house arriving out from space. They indeed look much surprised.

Top marks Andy!

God I am good at this..
Keep it up !!!
And as for the Yellow........... I have been a supported of you changing jackets for over a year ! not because once in a blue moon you half witty, but because of your talent !!!
01/20/08 @561
If it was a photo I'd say it's overexposed.Too many bleaks.
Nice atmosphere.
Congrats on the gold jacket ^_-
01/20/08 @646
VRae yeah I look like Vin Diesel in this don't I?
killafence I like his ribcage too
Michelle you know how many times I switched from this version to a more 'normal' contrast version? lol in the end I thought be brave and go with what you prefer. I know it might be too overexposed for some but thats cool with me. Cheers
A to the H I remember when the wit came at a rapid 'once every half day' pace. Alas I have no magic in me anymore and the little people have stolen my lambs. Thanks my main man (Rainman again!!!)
curly, yes I agree if it was a photo it would be too overexposed but I took a leap of faith and decided to leave it this way. Whether it worked or not I dont really know but I like it. Cheers very much lady

Raphael cheers for the comment. I think they are supposed to be sort of human sized but I am not sure I got the perspective or proportions in relation to the surroundings quite right. Its quite difficult lol.
PS. I always imagined you lived in the USA for some reason! Lovely Yorkshire

Nice work on this one, love the design of the robots and reflections. Some parts are a little flat. The back round would benefit from some atmospheric misting for distance. The doors size don't marry up with the distance of the upper floor, they look like they should be a tad bigger. The ground floor could probably do with some debris to help with depth and detail.
Hope that helps a bit.
All in all good work mate.
And no you probably won't see a painting from me for a while...I've moved onto modeling...with clay.
01/23/08 @061

If there is anything that should be changed, then perhaps Mrs Robot's figure could be a bit more curvy, but then again who knows whether the alien's really are curvy
GREAT WORK!
01/23/08 @684
Sandra and LiddleLarsen yes you may be right about the hips/ womanly shapes, it might have made her a bit more interesting. Thank you both

well done! Andy you totally rock, I'd give you a noogie if you weren't all the way over there. *points*
To me it looks like they have just been activated and are trying out their joints.
Agree with the paper-thin top wall though. I think seeing a little more of the edge of the wall on the sides of the windows would fix that problem.
9/9 as always.
02/01/08 @831
Anyway thanks for your comment Amanda and yep I will sort that wall out one day!
I can imagine someone drawing a smiliy face on them now!
02/01/08 @872
I still like you sexy witches the best but then I am a Sicko and nothing like a dead mouse to make me smile
