Description
this was an old piece that had been almost finished for over a year. Decided to finish it and get it out of the way once and for all. It is based on an old silhouette drawing I did a few years back.Photoshop7.0

Brilliant contrast and details in this painting. I really like the brush texture in the background and how you threw in a couple swirls to harmonize with the silhouettes in the foreground. The overall style of the figures and the vibrant colours are great. There's something I like about the horizontal cloud in the background but at the same time there's something about it that bothers me. Can't put my finger on it. Anyways, incredible work!

Agree with Daniel, looks a little like work of Tim Burton indeed.
I love the dynamics in this image, top marks

Elixia yes there is an element of the three witches in this I agree
tomato they are witches lol not green thingies but I guess 'green thingies' is ok too
Klung that light source is actually supposed to be an iluminated bit of rock like a stalagmite. But as everyone seems to think it is either a flame or something else I guess I could work on that more...also as pointed out I would need a stalctite in order for a stalagmite to exist! Cheers
Slapo yes I did post that original on GFX way back in 2004 I think but took it down not long afterwards
Joe I think a bit more work around that area of the sky was probably needed. Thanks for your comment
deManuel yes Tim Burton always comes out in stuff that I do which is more stylised than what I normally do. Its not intentional but it always seems to kreep in there

I regret to inform you that your painting does not show up correctly on my "computer." At your earliest convenience, I would greatly appreciate it if you could remedy this issue so that I may respond with a clever comment such as "yo andy" or "excellent!."
Love,
Dean

The only thing I can say is that there should be more details in the black ground and the "whachamacallit" plants on the two sides.
For the rest, GREAT style ! GREAT WORK !!!
